FREE Introductory Track & Field Camps: November 2020 in Surrey, BC
We are excited to offer a series of FREE Outreach Camps to be run on consecutive Saturdays at North Surrey Secondary School Track. Camps will be 2 hours in length and provide instruction and activities in a variety of Track & Field disciplines including sprints, jumps, relays, and throws.
Instruction will be provided by Thunderbirds High Performance Athletes, giving athletes an opportunity to learn from the best.
Who?
Open to athletes aged 8-14. No former experience is required. Bring a friend and learn about all that Track & Field has to offer!
What?
FREE Outreach Camps offering 3 complimentary coaching sessions with Vancouver Thunderbirds athletes.
When?
November 14th, 21st, and 28th from 12:00pm (noon) - 2:00pm
Where?
COVID-19 Safety
The Vancouver Thunderbirds Track and Field Club will make every effort to ensure that camps are run safely and in full compliance with regional, provincial, and national C19 Sport Guidelines. Athletes will be assigned to pods of 10 athletes or less/coach and sanitation and hygiene measures will be implemented.
All participants are required to complete a Daily Screening Questionnaire prior to each practice, which aids the club in contact tracing.
The Vancouver Thunderbirds is a registered member club of BC Athletics, our province’s Provincial Sports Organization.
