Good Results at Pinetree! - September 18th, 2010

Saturday saw the running of the first races in the Lower Mainland Cross-Country Series. 

Thirteen Thunderbirds participated in their various age groups and all had good success. Leading the way were Ryan Wong and Michael Mitchell who both won their age group classes. Katrina Allison, Madison Wong, and Louise Forsyth earned runner up positions with Kansas McKenzie, Megan Nantel and Patrick Riddell finishing in third in their races.  Strong performances also came from Gaelen Moore (4th), Colin Mitchell (5th) and Willem Palaty (6th) and from Leal Makaroff and Haley Mc Hendry who made their first foray into high school level cross-country racing with positive outcomes.

The next event will be in White Rock on October 2nd.
