TBirds had a great start to the cross-country season at the Pinetree Classic. Thunderbird athletes;  Christian Petersen, Sophie Forsyth, Maya Baechler, Adam Rentz, and Michael Caddick all won their respective races, taking 5 out of the 20 available titles.

 

Dylan Uhrich, Ella Symon and Francis Sadleir picked up 2nd place finishes, and newcomer Chloe van Schalkwyk picked up a third place.

 

Skye Higgins, Libby Dabbs, and Ruby Forsyth had strong runs to pick up 4th place finishes and Finley Butler (6th), Makenna Baechler (7th), Gabriella Barton (7th), Brayden Horlock (10th) and Mira Eden (12th) all had good runs to start the season.

 

Next up are the South Fraser Meet (Saturday in Surrey) and The Spirit Run (Sunday at Jericho)
