St. Paddy's Day in Stanley Park

On Saturday 14 March, we had a number of athletes racing in the St Patrick’s Day 5k in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

The annual race raises funds for the Canadian Diabetes Association.  In the women’s section Rachel Cliff won the race in a course record time of 16.14, beating her own course record of 16.15 from 2014. Erica Digby crossed the line in 4th place with 17.07 and Rhiannon Evans was 5th with 17.31. Great to see these three girls in top 5 in the race! In the men’s section Thunderbirds Anand Kapil and Stan Jang raced the Stanley Park course, coming 40th in 16.48 and 42nd in 16.54.

There were also a number of JD’s racing on Saturday; a big congratulations to all who competed!
