Thunderbird JD athletes performed excellently at the BC Championships. Maya Baechler led the way by winning the 10 year old race, defeating all runners, male and female, to take the championship title and finish the season undefeated. Finley Butler had her best run of the season to finish 4th, while Sophie Kazimirski ran tough for 7th. Francis Sadleir ran hard for an 11th place finish, sprinting hard over the final stages. Anna Kruk ran a good race for 5th in the 9 year old race, and Paul Paetzel continued his strong running for 6th in a very competitive 12 year old race.
